Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Overview
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to prasad and other religious items ordered through the Shree Suvarna Temple website or by contacting Suvarna Memorial Trust directly. We strive to deliver blessed items to devotees across India with care and reverence.
2. Delivery Areas
- Prasad delivery is currently available across India (Pan-India delivery)
- We deliver to all states and union territories served by major courier partners
- Remote areas and islands may have extended delivery timelines
- International shipping is currently NOT available. We plan to introduce international delivery in the future
- For delivery to areas not covered by our courier partners, we will notify you and offer alternatives or a full refund
3. Estimated Delivery Time
- Standard delivery: 5–7 business days from dispatch
- Metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad): 3–5 business days
- Remote/rural areas: 7–12 business days
- Business days exclude Sundays and national holidays
- Delivery timelines begin from the date of dispatch, not the date of order
- During festival seasons (Navratri, Diwali, Nag Panchami), delivery may take an additional 2–3 business days due to high volume
4. Packaging
We take utmost care in packaging prasad and religious items:
- All prasad is packed in food-grade, hygienic packaging
- Items are sealed to maintain freshness and sanctity
- Fragile items (diyas, murtis) are packed with protective material
- Each package includes a blessing card from the temple
- We use eco-friendly packaging materials wherever possible
5. Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are calculated based on delivery location and package weight
- Charges will be displayed at the time of order before payment
- Free shipping may be offered during special festivals and promotional periods
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the non-delivery is due to our error
6. Order Tracking
- Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via SMS and email
- You can track your order using the courier partner's tracking portal
- For tracking assistance, contact us at info@suvarnatrust.in with your order number
7. Delivery Attempts
- Our courier partners will make up to 2–3 delivery attempts
- If delivery fails due to recipient unavailability, you will be notified
- Undelivered packages will be returned to the temple after the final attempt
- Re-delivery charges may apply for returned packages
- Please ensure the delivery address and phone number provided are accurate and accessible
8. Damaged or Missing Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:
- Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery
- Send photos of the damaged packaging/item to info@suvarnatrust.in
- Include your order number and contact details
- We will arrange a replacement or refund as per our Refund Policy
- Do not discard the damaged item or packaging until the issue is resolved
9. Order Cancellation
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund
- Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible; please refer to our Refund Policy

10. Special Handling
For special religious items that require specific handling:
- Certain prasad items (e.g., fresh flowers, perishable sweets) may only be available for local delivery within Mumbai
- Items requiring refrigeration will be shipped with appropriate cold chain packaging
- Fragile religious items will be marked "Handle with Care" and shipped with extra protection
11. Force Majeure
Suvarna Memorial Trust shall not be liable for delays in delivery caused by:
- Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes
- Government restrictions or lockdowns
- Strikes or transportation disruptions
- Pandemic-related restrictions
- Any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
In such cases, we will keep you informed and deliver as soon as possible.
